    1. Thanks so much! Don’t know why it took me so long to see this message. This is the third book I’ve worked on that has a Chihuahua, but it’s the first to get published.

  2. Hello Esri,

I enjoyed looking at your accident with your nail polish this morn.

We met at the reunion of the Kinetra veterans picnic.

Thanks for your offer to help me find the reference to the marble knee of the horse of Artemis written up by Pausanias — through your friend the “Greek Archaeologist”.

Will write you separately in detail.

Also, I loved your joke about the brave explorer.

    Regards,

    Jim D. Savvas

  3. I learned of your book from Chihuahua Connection Magazine and immediately purchased a copy! Now I can’t drive home fast enough to begin reading again! PLEASE KEEP IT GOING! I’m a chihuahua and ghost lover who dresses her chihuahuas and stayed on the shores of Loch Ness in Scotland…so from the first chapter I was HOOKED….

    1. Glad to hear my ad is working. 🙂 You DO have a lot in common with the book! Thanks so much for your nice comment. I’m hard at work editing Portrait of Doreene Gray, which I finished earlier this month. St. Martin’s has me on a yearly schedule, so it’ll be out next July. I already have a couple of ideas for Book 3. Coming up with ideas is never a problem for me — writing more quickly is.

  4. Your book is WONDERFUL and you are such a kind person to post about my children’s book! Thank you again and I’m so pleased to have met you!

      1. Oh heavens….you flatter me. You entertain those of us that need GOOD entertaining! That is the challange! The children want to learn about animals and I’ve made that easy and fun….talking to children is easy for me…being really entertained is something I can’t usually get, so THANK YOU

  5. We met at my home on Sunday and you were an instant hit with all the chihuahua babies…..they know good people when they meet them….of course you were a hit with us humans also. I’m loving the book, and so loved how you described our meet up. I would love to have you attend any future meet ups that fit into your schedule….I know you will love it, and think of the research potential. Again, great to meet you.

  6. I just finished Chihuahua of the Baskerville, the Portrait of Doreene Gray. Weird. I now want to read ‘Twas the Chihuahua before Christmas. But I only see it on E-book. Can you tell me if if it in book form.
